Ok, I've entered everyone in. Sign ups aren't finished until every player is filled, but I'm going to start before then, most likely will have the first update ready in a few hours.

The Ashes are here
The trophys captains dutchad and Jakester1288 will be competing for.
Welcome to Cricinfo's preview of the Ashes.
This year, the two teams will be going their hardest to win the precious urn. Australia will be riding high after winning 5-0 in Australia in 2006/07, but this time, everything is bound to be different. Warne, McGrath, Langer, Hayden, Martyn etc are all missing from that series, plus the Australian's struggled to adjust to England's conditions and swing in 2005.
The squads:
Australia:
Australia's squad is mixed with experienced heads and a few new guys. There were a few surprise selections, but nothing over the top. There is great depth in batting, bowling and wicketkeeping, so injuries should be able to be covered easily.
Australian captain Jakester1288 talked to the press today, saying very little. "I'd definitely like everyone to step up and win. Whilst I am captain, there is a leadership group, including vice captain, and some older guys in the team, helping the young guys. My prediction is a 3-1 win to us, I think our squad is a lot stronger and has more depth, so if we have poor form or injuries, it can be easily covered. Personally, I'm hoping for 500 runs and a series victory, hopefully with a couple of centuries."
The key:
Jakester1288. The team captain, has almost 20000 first class runs and nearly 1100 Test runs, he will be making milestones this series. He is expected to lift the team, score runs, make fielding and bowling changes, organise the tactics, etc, a tough job, but one he enjoys and does extremely well.
England:
England's squad is quite strong indeed. Batsman such as CG123 can take the game away from Australia in a session. Captain dutchad is crucial, if he fails, and younger batsman BKB1991 follows, the whole team could collapse. A strong tail could save them, batting right down to 11, with 8 and 9 in their normal line up very strong batsmen.
Captain dutchad spoke to the media earlier today. "The lads and myself definitely are confident we can replicate the 2005 series and get a good result. We haven't got to rely on a couple of batsman, as we are all capable, and the tail is very good. The bowling is strong, a good mix of pace and spin, so I believe we can win 2-1 or even better than that."
The key:
CG123. No longer captain, but is by far England's best batsman. Batting at 3 or 4, he can easily destroy bowling attacks, and has had success against Australia in the past, racking up some big scores, both in England and Australia. If he fires, he can score big centuries, quickly, and defy all bowlers with ease, not only surviving, but sending them to all parts.
The prediction:
Australia 2-1. A much stronger squad, even though the strongest playing XI's are roughly the same. If there is an even amount of injuries, Australia should take this series comfortably. If it's both teams full strength for the whole series, a draw could be possible, or a 1 game margin. If either team gets 2 Tests ahead, they have played fantastically. Welcome to the Ashes, starting in 2 days, covered right here, on Cricinfo.
Jake. You shouldn't make yourself so overrated. I'm the key batsman. I am the ICC God.
Nice to see I'm the key for England.
How is Ponting the best batsman. In real life, Clarke, Hussey, North and Katich are all better than him.
I'll be Sidebottom thanks,
sounds funny when you say it lol:laugh
Hey dude, I said that I want to be Sidebottom, think you missed my post:
Ponting is one of the best batsmen in the world, no doubt about it. I rate him in the Top 5 batsmen in the current era.
