The Bands Draft

Well we’ve had a little South African adventure but let’s return back to the sunny Caribbean. Or should I say Sunil Caribbean as I pick Sunil Narine only played 13 FC games with 6 of them being tests taking 65 wickets at 17.75 in those 13 but with weaker returns in test cricket with 21 at 40.

Martin Love (16,952 runs @49.85) another unlucky victim of the Aussie stacked lineup!

:aus: :bwl: Shane Warne
708 wickets @ 25.41 (37 5WI, best 8/71) in 145 Test matches

I still remember exactly where I was when I heard that Shane Warne had died. Warne was the second-best cricketer I've ever watched live, and he rounds off a truly exceptional three-man spin attack.

Vinay Kumar, played only 1 test, but had great FC record with 504 FC wickets @22.44

Josh Inglis, 2 test matches so far with average of 51 and strike rate of 106, with a ton in subcontinent.

:aus: :ar: Alan Davidson
1,348 runs @ 24.89 (best 80) and 186 wickets @ 20.53 (14 5WI, best 7/81) in 44 Test matches

He's often overlooked by modern cricket fans, but there's a strong argument that Alan Davidson is the best left-arm seamer in Test history - it's certainly a title with only one other realistic claimant. Number 7 in the batting order might be a bit high but a first-class average of 32 with nine centuries suggest he'll be okay.
