I still don't have judging yet, but I do have something...
All-Snub Team
1.
Alan Melville (11-16) - One of the few historical "cap crunch" players not to go in this draft. Tom Richardson was also available but I wanted at least one bowler from this century.
2.
Herbert Sutcliffe (50+) - Many options here, you're just as valid for wanting players like Hutton or Hayden here, but Sutcliffe has the second highest average behind the Don in this bracket.
3.
Martin Donnelly (6-7) - The second great Kiwi batsman after Dempster, he played even less thanks to war.
4.
Kurtis Patterson (2) - If Selector Ddrap had his way, he wouldn't be in this band no more. A very good player blighted by Cricket NSW for a little bit.
5.
Adam Voges (17-26) - Forever a good Australian domestic player, Voges got his callup at 35 and then had the greatest Linsanity run in cricket history.
6.
Bill Alley (0) - Easily the biggest available 0 cap player (sorry Karl Schneider) and the first name added to this team.
7.
Desmond Lewis (3) - The West Indian was squeezed out of the team by Deryck Murray, but was probably better with the bat in hindsight. Also opens up the top bands.
8.
Albert Trott (4-5) - This band was picked basically clean, except for Piet van der Bijl and the Albatrott. The latter was one of the best low cap allrounders available.
9.
Andy Roberts (27-49) - Imagine him and JJ Ferris taking the new ball. Pure pace and hostility from both ends.
10.
JJ Ferris (8-10) - This band saw all the good bats go but a very good bowler in Ferris left behind.
11.
"Father" Marriott (1) - Took 11 wickets in his only Test, and was very strong in his FC career too.
