Sorry for no update yesterday, I was a bit busy with preparations...
I'll update the full match today, so no further delays, series will go as per schedule...

Blue Brigades Vs. Australia A FC Match will be up by today evening... :)

Hello Everyone, I'm your host Aamir and I'll take you through this exciting encounter between Blue Brigades and Australia A in the longer version of the game, the First Class 4 Day match. Its very hot out here, it'll be hard for the players to deal with the scorching sun, but we hope to see a good competition. The pitch is hard and fast, the ball will have good bounce throughout the 4 days and the ball will come on to the bat perfectly. The toss doesn't really matters but still if you win the toss, bat first get a good total and an early advantage.

The Australia A captain won the toss and elected to bat first. Lets see what score can they put up.

Australia A openers started cautiously. The new hard ball had some uneven bounce so the batsmen preferred to defend or leave rather than going for the kill. They kept on playing sensibly and managed to score some runs. The top order batsmen caused problems for the Brigades bowlers but not for long. None of the batsmen could capitalize on the starts that they got and failed to convert them into big scores. A. Voges top scored 90 and remained unbeaten till then end. Once the Brigade bowlers were through the middle order, there was no defence from the tail what so ever. Vaibhav thrashed the Aussie batting order and picket up 5 wickets. Australia A were bowled out for 326.

The Brigade batsmen had a task in their hand i.e. to score as many runs as possible in the 1st innings. The Brigade bowlers performed well to restrict Australia A, now its their turn to capitalise. The Brigade openers started off pretty well. Ansariaamir_leo and Ashwinsancheti put up 140 runs for the 1st wicket, putting up a good foundation for posting a mamoth total. Ansariaamir_leo was dismissed for 59 runs, whereas Ashwinsancheti continued smashing the Australia A bowlers all over the park with good support from Giggity, Karachi Express and Surendar, all of them scoring their individual fifties. A Mc. Donald bowled pretty well but it was too late. The damage was already done. Brigades captain decided to declare at the score of 500-7. A mammoth total courtesy abrilliant double century by Ashwinsancheti. What a brillaint form he is in.

Australia A come in to bat again with a trail of 174 runs. They badly need their top order to perform well. If they want to create any chances of winning this match, they'll have to post a target of atleast 300 runs for such an in form opponent. Australia A openers were under pressure and Brigades bowlers did well by capitalizing on it. The Brigades captain employed attacking field as he had too many runs to back himself. He kept on rotating his bowlers and applied pressure continuously and the result of that, Australia A were bolwed out for 238 runs. Its really shameful for a team to get bowled out in both the innings but I dont blame the Australia A batsmen, the Brigades bowlers are too good for them. They kept things tight, and bowled on line and length and there wasn't much Australia A batsmen could've done. All Australia A could put up is 65 runs for the Brigades to win.

The Brigades batsmen came out to bat with no pressure as such. They had to score a mere 65 runs. And they had all the time in the world to do that. The only joy for Australia A came in the form of the 1st innings top scorer Ashwinsancheti who was run out on 15. Ansariaamir_leo and giggity continued batting easily and reached the target with no problem what so ever.

Blue Brigades won the game by 9 wickets. They simply out played the Australia A team in all departments. Their bowlers were sensational and bowled out Australia A in both innings, whereas the batsmen performed exceptionally well. The top 5 batemen scoring atleast 50 each in the first innings. Thats what you like to see as a captain and look at the delight of the Brigades captain and why he should be after the way his team performed.

For his brilliant double century in the 1st innings which helped his team in laying a tough foundation for the huge score, Ashwinsancheti was awarded Man of the Match award.

The toss was vital and Gamerkid was lucky to win it and has no hesitation in opting to bat first

It started very badly for the Goblins they lost the first wicket of the very 2nd ball of the innings Mehkar the bowler and Highlander the bastmen. Then a very good partnership between Tarzan and the new opening batsmen Shubhrayu.... the pair adding 128 Runs for the second wicket and then some good hitting from Monty made the goblins managed a respectable total in the end.....

...........The players have gone for the Lunch Break.............

Raptors require to score at 4.62 Runs per over... The openers started off brilliantly adding 141 Runs for the first wicket... But the momemtum was never with the Raptors as they tried to played very cautiously and never looked like they can win it... Left hander and Burnsy scoring 50's but it was way too slow and Goblins won the match by 37 Runs.... The pick of the Bowlers for Goblins were Madsnake (10-4-25-0) and Handsome (10-2-28-1)....
