Good Morning Everyone and welcome to Kandy, Sri Lanka for this 5th and final test match between Royal Ramblers and Counter Warriors. All the previous 4 tests in this series has been ties. Everyone would be expecting a result here so that the series is decided. The performance of both the teams have been head to head so its difficult to choose one winner here, but we would really love to have a result here.
The temperature is hot and the pitch is dusty. It'll assist the spinners as the game progresses. it'll be a tough day for the fielder out in the scorching sun. Win the toss and bat first.
The Counter Warriors captain won the toss and elected to bat first. He too stated that batting on last day would be tough.
The Counter Warriors openers are out in the middle and the game has begun. The early morning dew was assisting the seam bowlers a bit. The ball was swinging and the Royal Ramblers bowlers continued putting the balls in right areas. It didn't take them too long to get their first dismissal. Ashwin wis dismissed for a duck in the very second over of the innings. Shalin hitter got him caught in the slips. The Counter Warriors were trying to make up for the loss when Shalin hitter struck again. This time it was the other opener Paulnixon1. Counter Warriors were struggling at 15/2. Then Tarzan and Wildwil got inot a patrnership. Wildwil being the major contributor of the partnership. He played well and got onto 40 before he was dismissed. In came Ledzep and there was start of a good partnership. Tarzan and Ledzep played some really nice strokes and added 177 runs for the 4rd wicket. Tarzan reaching 3 figures whereas Ledzep complete his half century. they were looking good and soon Ledzep was nearing his century but was very unfortunate to be out caught 94. He should've been a bit patient there. He full just short of a well deserved century. Anyways, it was a brilliant knock. World Champions continued from where Ledzep left. Tarzan once again contirbuted well and both added 95 runs for the 5th wicket just before a confusion in calling ended up in loss of WorldChampions' wicket. Tarzan continued batting brilliantly with Left Hander and reached the milestone of 150 runs. A brilliant innings indeed. The Counter Warriors captain felt that the score is enough and decided to declare on 388/5. Tarzan and Left Hander remain not out on 159 and 31 respectively.
The Royal Ramblers openers came out and were looking promising. They have experimented with their opening combination and sent in Shubhrayu with Viral. And the combination worked brilliant for the Royal Ramblers. Shubhrayu and Viral played sensibly and added 141 runs for the opening partnership. They provided with just the start that was needed. They smashed the Counter Warrior bowlers all around the park and ran some tight 1s, 2s and 3s. Shubhrayu was looking good on 73 when he tried smashing hard at a wide delivery and ended up edging the ball into the hands of Wildwil who made no mistake in catching it. After Shubhrayu Karachi Xpress continued batting brilliantly with Viral and another strong partnership was in the making. Karachi Xpress played some glorious shots whereas Viral was happy rotating the strike. They played brilliantly and added 134 runs for the 2nd wicket. They were looking good until sanjogmaiti was brought back into the attack. He was successful in breaking the partnership. Karachi Xpress was dismissed after well made 81 runs. In came Giggity. Viral continued putting the ball into gaps. He showed lot of temperament and class. And after batting so brilliantly, he managed to reach the magical 3 figures. A well deserved century. Giggity and Viral added 56 runs for the 3rd wicket. 3rd success for the Counter Warriors came in to form of Viral. iloveireland got him out on 113. In came ansariaamir_leo. The Royal Ramblers were trailing by 55 runs but still the Royal Ramblers captain Karachi Xpress decided to declare. He knew that this match needs to have a result and for that he played a gamble. Ansariaamir_leo and Giggity were not out. Giggity scored 34 runs whereas ansariaamir_leo played just 3 balls for no runs.

159 not out is good and nice to see a good total of both teams. Ledzep and WC also played well. Now we can win this one... Bowlers need to work hard...
