FINALLY DECLARED

Wolverines finally decided to declare at 326/4, with the batsmen dominating once again. Once again a superb opening stand of 292 runs from Aamir (151) and Ursonly (144) ensured that they set a target of 302 runs with around 100 overs still left infront of Lions.

LAST SESSION OF THE MATCH

After the qucik fall of KX. Giggity and Left hander made sure that no further damage was done. At tea they were at 157/1, still requring another 145 runs in the last session with 9 wkts in hand.

THE FINAL HOUR OF THE MATCH

With some aggressive stroke play and quick running between the wickets they score freely and with the last hour left they required to score another 78runs for the victory.


JUST FELL SHORT BY 18 RUNS

In the End the Batsmen threw at every delivery but WOlverines held there nerves and managed a draw. The Lions felt sort just by 18 runs.

It was a very tough decision, many contenders for the award. Aamir & Ursonly batted superbly in both the innings. KX scored brillantly in the first innings. But in the End Giggity is awarded the Man of the Match award.​
