West Indies have had many great talent in the past few years, but due to poor management.
1st of April 2013 , marks the date of a New Coach for The West Indies Cricket, Randy Red.
Randy have many plans to carry West Indies forward.
Randy Future Plans for West Indies.
1. Focusing on West Indies U19 and West Indies A Team.
2. Focusing on West Indies Domestic Cricket.
3. Player management on the Senior Team.
4. Applying More assistant Coach.
Randy also went into more Details on the 3 topics.
West Indies U19 and West Indies A Team.
"West Indies Do need a strong U19 and A team. We do need player coming
through these stages, and developing a better metal and physical condition
to play in, say like on Australia Condition or the Sub continents, or maybe
in England. Instead of just playing the Caribbean, they wouldn't be able to
develop, playing amounts our self."
West Indies Domestic Cricket
" The Standards of West Indies Domestic Cricket is Poor. This is why we are
having the U19 and A Team,we can Improve those standards. Our Domestic
Teams can then have more players, which can be expose to Cricket, instead
of just a handful of players playing each year around looking to get in the
senior team, But instead each players from each island will be looking to focus
themselves to play for U19/A Team and then try their hands at the Senior
Team. This may or or may not, Improve the standard of the Domestic Team
right away, but player now will see a wider goal to play for, with under 19
player have, U19,A Team or Senior, while over 19 will have the A Team and
Senior team to work towards."
Player Management
" Managing Player are always the issue when it come to West Indies Cricket.
I also know this is going to be a challenging thing for me also. With the help
of my other staff, we will try to manage each problem which face us positively.
any player are free to state they opinion. We will try to make who ever the players
are in the dressing room, try to bring unity amounts them. Of course they may be
some player who may not like curtain player or I should should say, not
comfortable around them. We will look to change it at the best possible way."
Other Coaches.
" My plans for this is, to get the likes of our legends, Lara, Richard, Ambrose,
etc to come and help the Younger player before a series. would like some of
them to take a Full job as Batting, Bowling,Fielding coach for the player, to
get involved in help rebuilding The WI team, starting from the U19 and WI A
team."

though major series/tournaments are there in corner - you would need to set up a small goal to raise the confidence/morale up
