Draft: The Lasagne Draft

So, as the Layer Cake Draft nears completion (with big thanks to everyone involved for making it such a success), it is time to get a new draft moving to try to fill the yawning void of self-isolation. But what could possibly fill the void of such a bonkers draft?

Well - another one exactly the same of course. Welcome to The Lasagne Draft. It's the same thing, but with one-day teams (although @Na Maloom Afraad spent a little while building a one-day team, but he's well on his way to fixing it now).

How it works

The first three "layers" of this draft will be run by PM. It means quite a bit of work on my end, but please oh please I need something to fill my days at the moment.

This is the one player you want in your side above all else. Well, unless someone else tries to protect him - then you both miss out.

Much as the Layer Cake draft allowed people to select anybody who had played a first-class match, the Lasagne Draft will allow people to select anybody who has played a List A match. So for clarity: ELIGIBLE / ELIGIBLE / ELIGIBLE / INELIGIBLE

Honestly, this draft works really nicely and it'd be great to have y'all be part of it. (And yes, depending how long we're in quarantine for there is also likely to be a T20 version and potentially a women's version in due course.)

A really good pick here, and someone who was again overlooked by everyone else. Once Bairstow got promoted to the top of the ODI batting order, it completely turned the format upside down. Look not only at his average, but also his strike rate.
