Time to pick an opening batter, and I'm going with India's Gautam Gambhir. He averaged 89 opening the batting in New Zealand and scored a century every third innings. Time to get him in the side.

I was unable to choose between Dale Steyn and Kagiso Rabada before Neptune made that decision much easier for me by picking the former. My fourth and final local pick.

I suppose Dale Steyn could've possibly been a 'better' pick considering (a) his longevity and (b) his reputation. But I firmly believe Kagiso Rabada is just as good of a choice, if not better. Kagiso Rabada has 161 wickets from 55 innings in South Africa at an average of 19.96 (better than Dale Steyn's 21.62).

With a bowling attack consisting of Rabada, Benaud, King and Barnes (and Kallis too btw) - I think I have an all-timer.
