The official blockerdave review...

Geez , all a bit hazy for this Civil Engineer ....

I`ll hang back and wait for someone to do that interesting bit .

Thanks for the try though !

No worries. I'm very interested myself because I want retro bats whereas most creators are understandably concentrating on current ones.

I'm gonna have a go at some stuff when I can to see what I can knock up.

Hi Quincy

Under what username must we search for that 90`s Batpack ?

Unfortunately the pack is only for DBC14 at the moment, however I am very enthusiastic about a pack for DBC17.

From what I understand we need to have base images in the right format for the DBC17 editor. I will work with blockerdave - PlanetCricket Forums to at least make a start on it.

In the meantime you can find the DBC14 pack here:

Thanks. I'll see what I can rustle up :) they are vastly different as in 17 you have to use an in-game editor. Some guys have come up with great work but it's a bit beyond my skills. I'm at the import an svg and see how it goes stage. Is it too cheeky to ask for any source images?

Really sorry to hear you've been unwell and hope you're over the worst now.

If you're sticking with DBC14 a while be sure to check out the Franco mod which has revolutionised gameplay from the bowling perspective.

Do you know what fonts you used for the St Peter? I've got the SP fine but the other bits I'm struggling

Thanks, I'm over the worst it seems and I glad I am starting to regain some of my old energy.

I have read a bit about the Franco mod and I am very keen to give it a go. Very frustrating sometimes with the lack of edges in DBC14, although I do get some with legspin.

I can't rememeber what fonts I used for the St Peter. I do remember I retouched the main logo for the front and back of the bat. I will have a look over the Christmas period and see if I can give you a definitive answer.

I wouldn't mind starting on a 70's bat pack. Some of those bats such as the GM Imperial, Gray-Nicolls Quad Scoop, would look fantastic!

I am happy to make some source images if I can. The issue will be somehow creating the images to be either saved or converted to .svg format using the images from the bat template givent that the image work is already done. I will see what I can do.

I recently got an edge while using Starc!

I have found an online conversion tool for the base labels, (mind you I still haven't downloaded DBC17 Academy yet to try it for myself).

DDS to SVG - Convert image online

I have converted the ST Peter Bat to the .svg format, however it looks like it needs to be touched up again.

Is this the type of image that is useful to you though?
