Alright, why were all those posts deleted? What Rudolph did is absolutely within the rules of the game and allowed except the self lynching. As Rudolph was nearing the hammer he has role claimed! It is definitely allowed. Role claiming is a very important part of the game. He could well be telling the truth or blatantly lying about it. This is how you play mafia. You guys got to decide whether you agree with his claim or not.

Ok, so Rudolph self lynched to get the 8 then declared.

Unless you think he knew that self lynch would be overturned, there's now no reason not to hedge your bets and go with someone else.

To clarify, I would be suss if he just role claimed. I saw the original post, he lynched himself and then roleclaimed as the final part of the process.

I don't think he knew the suicide would be overturned to the current state. I suppose he could have suicided as a mafia and then put a different role up but I don't by that.

Hence why I personally feel the better option is to target someone else...
