The Retro Thread - links in OP

@blockerdave just wanted you to confirm that you have uploaded all wc92 teams except for india, as i have downloaded them all is this correct?

Does anyone have any suggestions about getting the coloured trim on the white jumpers? A small detail but I quite like it.

No mate. The only ones I have uploaded are England, Zimbabwe and South Africa, and only England & Zimbabwe are complete.

If you search using username mrdconnors and team contains %WC92% those are my teams. I haven't shared them in this thread yet because I uploaded them using @Llewelynf logos for the identities and haven't cleared it with him yet... (so mate if you see this here let me know if it's ok).

if i haven't put it in this thread as ready for download, it's not complete...

not to say the other people's ones aren't better than mine, they might be!

@pinku here are some images of the England and Zimbabwe kits.

Some caveats:
1) I've just noticed I don't have Dave Houghton as captain of Zimbabwe - I will correct that tomorrow
2) I've not yet done the white piping around the Zimbabwe on the front of the shirt
3) The ISC orange logo is really shit
4) The identity logo for each teams I have just used @Llewelynf logos from his current generation teams
5) I have also stuck his zimbabwe insgnia logo into a white circle for their hat/helmet
6) and I have also butchered his england white logo by sticking a horrible blue oval behind it for their hat which is true to life.
7) i didn't make all the players. i think every player is ported over from DBC14. I know I definitely made Botham, Houghton and Traicos in DBC14.

Otherwise, skills should be sensible, all the English players that could be linked are (no Zimbabwe players to link) and fixed all issues such as incorrect linking and nationalities that you get when transferring the DBC14 players through.

South Africa to come soon. Then Pakistan and Aus and Windies would be my next priorities. Probably Aus first as I guess I already have more players for them.

Gents,

General lurker here. Finally decided to sign up. Loving the Retro stuff, and the rebel tour thread! I've made a couple of bats including the Dyna Drive, Scoop and the Slazenger V5, V6 and V12.

Made them on the Ps4, my gamertag is the same as the forum username. Hope they work for you guys!

Mate lovely. I got the V12 will have to download the others. Mind you I've no idea how to actually apply bats to a player! Are you doing any other retro bats?

Glad you're enjoying the retro stuff and the rebel videos: welcome to Planet Cricket![DOUBLEPOST=1484003422][/DOUBLEPOST]
The England and Zim WC92 work is awesome, lovin it
thanks!

Great stuff @blockerdave, looking forward to create the classic wc92 tournament in Australia again!

Ok folks I downloaded a few WC 92 teams (NZ 92, Aus 92, Eng 92, SA 92, Pak 92 and WI 92) and the logos/kits were downloaded along with the teams. The teams show up under 'Custom' tab/category. So far so good but now I want to use these 92 WC kits for other teams (says Aus, Eng, SA and Pak national teams). How can I do so? I tried going to the 'Uniforms' pane for various teams but I couldn't find a way how to add/reuse the 92 WC uniform/kit. Any ideas?

@SnowyCasanova , @Llewelynf , @Fissionmailed paging you guys so you can provide some tips and steps on how to reuse a kit/uniform downloaded uniform/kit for one team for another one.

Unfortunately right now that is not possible. Trust me it kills me having to replicate kits over and over.

That's a bummer :(

Let me ask another question in that case. Is it possible to copy a team, along with kits/uniforms? I mean can I copy 'Eng 92 WC' and save a new version of it as 'Eng Current Gen'? That way I can copy over the uniform and delete the 92 WC squad and add the current gen players. But yeah I would like the ability to reuse uniforms/kits so they can be used for multiple teams once you download or create the one you like.

Hey guys, not sure if this counts as retro, but I'm making the 2006/07 Australian team. Is anyone interested in making the English team so we can play out the ashes series? Here's what I've done so far...

For me yes it is retro enough lol. Also i think the Aussie t20 kit the colours are the wrong way around. It should be yellow in the middle and grey on the sides! Also hoping we can use your '3' kit logo as an on field logo as it would look great

Sure you could use it as an on-field logo, and as far as the t20 kits go, I was aiming for this one

@Llewelynf i know you must have a busy schedule, but if you find time could you please make some of the 2000's bats such as the GN viper and the kookaburra kahuna?

Have just uploaded an updated Zimbabwe 1992 WC with the lineup fixed to have Houghton as captain, and putting the white around the shirt team name.

Have also added South Africa 1992 with the absolute best job I could do of the UCBSA logo they were playing in at that time. All relevant SA Players (Cronje, Donald, Richardson) linked to their on-disc ATB counterparts.

Shared under mrdconnors.

Wow! i hadn't seen that lol, Could you also add the other one that i mentioned if it is not too much for you to do? Also any idea when you will be uploading it? Thanks
