I don't think someone who bought the game is under the same obligations as us who were given the game early for free by the developer.

The distributor / retailer should respect the embargo. If they dont and you've purchased it I think you're not obligated at all.

It’s in a way a good thing too. Some of us people who got the game early are serious and only want improvement(no doubt its already awesome) we’re informing bugs before release which may help them to look into things and patch it sooner its about how u look at it. Negative people are everywhere btw, they will even be after the release so thats nothing we can handle.

I have enjoyed following this thread and all of the media and footage of the game so far. The game looks really good and I can’t wait to get my hands on it on release day.

I believe some of the buyers from unofficial retailers have already installed the first patch. @mazd confirmed that he did install the first patch.

However I agree....people who have not installed the patch should not be commenting on any aspect of the gameplay before they do install the patch.

Embargoes can be tricky but ultimately distributors are the ones that need to heed it the most. Respecting the release date should be of utmost importance but unfortunately making a few sales before anyone else causes them to break the date. It is frustrating because some of us have content we would love to show but I respect BA way too much to go against their wishes. I have had Academy stuff ready to show off for weeks and yet just because I was fortunate enough to be selected as part of the beta team I will respect Ross' wishes and wait until he gives me the go ahead.

I always have mixed feelings when a game is released early (not talking about BETA Users) for other peeps (not ME), 1. Happy they enjoy the game and can play it other. 2. In their excitement they criticize the game sometimes without going through it thoroughly...

What criticisms have come out? I haven't been following those tbh - obviously as I have it myself.

1 I am aware of is the 2 wickets off 1 ball, which is such a rare occurrence and some stuff about commentary??

Even those small things, sometimes makes you annoyed when pointed out when you only have the game for a day or so. Blocker, I am not even talking about this game. Even last time, some peeps got it earlier and this happened...

Agree. When dbc17 broke street date there were near immediate reports of no cover drive and crashes and things that may have put people off buying. There is nothing like that in Ashes that I have seen in either PC or PS4 play.[DOUBLEPOST=1510485127][/DOUBLEPOST]

If anything else, the early videos are only gonna help with increase in sales. Cos the game looks amazing. Great job guys.
