Tour match thread -Scotland v Australia Aug 28

Lee certainly has made the selection a bit tougher. Hes been the best bowler in each of our tour matches. But will be hard to drop Siddle who got a 5 fer last match.

Australia have been in England since June for the World 20 havn't they? and there last game is on September 20th making it nearly 4 months away from home for them :O

It's insane. You have to ask what's the point of playing seven ODI's to finish the tour up though, massive overkill.

3 ODI's enough no wonder Brett Lee's wife left him :p

These guys are on tour for too long

7!

Whoa! I think thats a bit too much after a 5 test series, it would be ok if the test series was something under 3 tests. Thats ridiculous.

@ jazz: Yeah, true. But nowadays the annoying wives can come on tour. :facepalm

Didn't realise it was only one innings a side. :p

Unleashing a fast, full delivery, Lee scythed through Plunkett's defences to splay the stumps, then watched on as one of the bails was pilfered by a souvenir-seeking seagull and flown to a nearby roof. "We were trying to see if he was going to eat it," Nathan Hauritz said. "I've never seen anything like it."
LOL.

Bingo.
Scotland vs Australia probably going to be wet...
Ryan Watson does have a 62 ball hundred and can be pretty destructive. Gavin Hamilton has played test cricket for England too so isn't a total mug.
We've lost to Ireland and Canada recently though so it would take quite a special effort by Australia not to win.

It is a one day match or T20? Hopefully it'll go ahead, for Scotland's sake.

It's a one day match. Pretty sure the last time we were meant to play them it was washed out. Might have been an Ireland game.

One day, we don't play many T20s.
2005 was washed out and cost Cricket Scotland loads of money. They'll be praying this one isn't.

Ryan Watson to unleash hell on the Australian bowlers anyone. He looked fairly decent in the T20 world cup.

7!

2 T20 International's as well. First one on Sunday, 2nd on Tuesday. Massive overkill at the end of a Test series. A 5 ODi series should be the absolute maximum. The only 7 match ODi series I've enjoyed was the England-India one in 2007, and the only thing that made it good was the fact it went down to the last game, which is rare for 7 game series.
