Hello everyone, I have been meaning to do a league for a while. This is going to be a trial run, if successful I will run a full league. As mentioned this league will be run using the Dice Cricket game, I will be Total Cricket Scorer 11 on PC to post the results. This will be a T20 tournament.
The Tournament is named after John Davison the former Canadian Cricket captain
Teams selectionFor now I will be accepting 4 teams of 15 players. You can decide on your own Team name and players, you can make up your own players or use real life examples. Also please select your home ground.
Each team will be given the following Skill points for their teams:
4 - Highest rated batsman or bowler
6 - Second rated batsman or bowler
8 - Third rated batsman or bowler
12 - Lowest rated batsman or bowler
you can decide how you want to balance your teams:
As an example how your team should be rated:
|Player||Batting Skill||Bowling Skill|
You should have at least one wicket keeper and have at least 5 bowlers on your team.
Match selectionWe will have a home team and an away team. Before the match both teams need select if they want to Bat or Bowl upon winning the toss. The away team must also mention if they want heads or tails, if they both select the opposite of the other then there is no need for a toss.
Each team also needs to decide what bowlers will bowl what overs. (you can pick as you see fit)
Player 15 will bowl overs 1,3,18, 20
Player 14 will bowl overs 2,4,17,19
Player 10 will bowl overs 5, 7, 11, 16
Player 4 will bowl overs 6
and so on.
Each team will also need to decide how aggressive they want to bat.
Here are the levels of aggressiveness:
Level 1: Safe
Level 2: Standard
Level 3: Accelerated
Level 4: High risk/Slog
Overs 1-6: Standard
Overs 7-10: Safe
Overs 11-17: Accelerated

Overs 1-3: Safe

You decide how you want to Bat and Bowl.
Please ask me if you have any questions or concerns or suggestions.
