guys, i am aiming towards optimal res of 1280x1024, so please make overlays to fit that size. The game will be playable at lower res (e.g. 1024x768) but please make the overlays with 1280x1024 in mind. As Drewska mentioned, dynamic text will be added ingame but static text like titles etc. can be done as part of the overlay IF IT DOES NOT EVER CHANGE.

regarding the issue of batsman weaknesses, i can understand both sides of the argument, but i think it's best if they are NOT displayed - I know that bowlers probably would have done their research in real life, but to have it just displayed in broad daylight like a signpost kinda reduces the magic a bit if you know what i mean - demystifys it all...if people want to do prior research they will be able to check those stats out before playing but otherwise they will have to work it out through playing. I believe i can make the AI good enough to make this possible. Obviously when we do the stats we will try our best to get things as close to real as possible, but there will always be people with different opinions on someone's stats lol...so it would probably do people wise to check stats to make sure they agree...if you dont like the default stats we have assigned then you can edit them...

Thanks holmie are those pictures off widescreen? cause on non widescreen tvs some words get cutoff?

yeah, let's have a brainstorm on what overlays need to be done - defiantely scoreboards, player profiles, spiders and manhattens for starters...
