Bond Set on Comeback

Shane Bond Set to Make Comeback after being out for 2 years

Bond who had broken down after the 2003 worldcup cricket has not played international cricket since

he came back into the scene in september 2004 when New Zealand toured England but again his back problems caused him to miss the enitre series without him bowling a single ball

he was then advised by his doctors to take 8-9 months off from cricket

in early 2005 bond then started to shrug of his injury and he started to play for the school boy universtiy in New Zealand

he now is 100% fit and ready to wear the New Zealand jersy after a 2 year abscence in which New Zealand struggled in to the likes of Australia and England

Bond made memorable performances in the recent years including in the world cup against Australia when he took 6/23 but unfortunatley New Zealand lost that match

Bond is itching to make a good start in New Zealands opener against Sri Lanka which is set to begin tommorrow

but the question remains will Shane Bond be effective and fast as he used to be?
