What makes you think the BCCI would do anything for free or for the betterment of the game?

I was at the Pakistan-New Zealand game on Sunday afternoon and I have to say I found the whole review thing frustrating. On television there is ample opportunity to review why a decision has been made. At the ground they just tell you whether it has been upheld or not but not why. It just makes for a tedious break in proceedings. At least make it something people feel they are participating in. Explain why a decision has been made.

I'm sure the ICC has enough money to gift one to WI and Bangladesh. Or get the BCCI to donate some, they get heaps of cash.

Umm... the BCCI isn't some lending pot of money. International cricket isn't a communist regime.

I hope this isn't the beginning of heaps of umpires retiring.

Steve Bucknor also mentioned his dislike of the system when he retired.
:laugh:rtfl:laugh, India supporters will see that both of the umpires are from the Sydney test!

I suppose now we can't pay them to make bad decisions for us can we?
