Unpopular Cricket Opinions

Next year’s WC has to be his moment especially if he leads the side. If he fails there I can only imagine his career being spoken of as a big what if in the future.
Failure in Indian context would be the inability to lift the cup yet again. I doubt Pandya has the support of the team mates, esp given how Shami recently spoke out against him. Still feel it will be Rohit who leads, post which they will have a hitherto new personality.

No malice in that, but the mere fact that a person has to bring this out in public seems a bit odd. Especially given that Pandya is being touted as the successor to Rohit...

Yeah, he will need a very strong individual performance or has to lift the cup.

So it should have been 4 in 50 tests then.

Cool.

Bobsy the Emperor.

On a serious note winning 5 tests motm is a good achievement.

But for as the thread title says its an unpopular opinion.

I will still stuck to that opinion.

Alright there’s more merit to this than I believed after his performance today.

He is a very good player IMO, very solid technically as well.

He ia going through rough patch right.

Just rated way too highly.

One of my favourite players to watch while batting currently. Had a couple of questionable glances from people IRL when I posted a story praising him a couple of years ago to boot.

Mid 40s is not a bad place to be at all.
