PS3 is region-free so there should be no problem playing this on a US PS3. Not sure if NTSC/PAL is an issue, but an HDTV shouldn't have an issue.

yeh it should but remember this thing that it could be uk ps3 exclusive hope i am wrong as i heard some where and this could happen like if u have a ntsc ps3 and u try running this game might not work without hd tv as i am currently in pakistan and have a hdtv but no hdmi cable my sis got me sd vs raw 09 that didnt work because od hdmi cable so i got a hdmi cable now it works fine

i might be wrong on some info there but correct on hdmi cable happend with me but it may go on other side as it could be compatible with ntsc ps3.

I have asked this to Codemasters already, however they weren't able to get a definitive answer before the deadline for the interview (it isn't a development decision). I'll post here when I get an answer back.

As a PS3 owner, I have a few games I bought at the EA superstore in Hong Kong (not pirates, actual games) that work on my Australian system perfectly, and that is NTSC and region 3 (Australia is PAL, Region 4). Not sure how it would work in the US, but I'm assuming you'd have no problems.

Ya PS3 has no region look what so ever in games.Region lock is on some bluray movies.So u can play games from any where in the world.

No Xbox360 ashes cricket 2009 will most probably be region locked like brian lara cricket 2007.So i think only ps3 version can be imported.

yeh but as i said there could be problem as u might need a hdtv as game is region free but not the video resulation as some games dont work on regular tv so u need a hdtv and and hdmi cable.

Here in US if u have ps3 u probably have hdtv bcoz with out it u cant get true PS3 experience.Without hdtv there could be color problems as i had with my ps2 on regular tv.

This game will definitely be region locked. But i hope they release a pal version as my 360 is Pal Uk
