Here in US if u have ps3 u probably have hdtv bcoz with out it u cant get true PS3 experience.Without hdtv there could be color problems as i had with my ps2 on regular tv.

agree with u and its not gonna be region locked but again people if u are pre ordering this for ps3 us make sure u have an hdtv as new pal games dont work on regular tv if u have us ps3

lot of people dont have hd tvs or don't no much abt it and some people here in pakistan gets a ps3 in gift from relatives in us and they try play pal games they get problems as they dont have an hd tv.
i am currently in pakistan but i brought my hdtv and ps3 with me but lot of people asked me gta 4 works on yur system.
well i replied yeh

well for me it was either get a hdtv and wait to get the ps3 or get a ps3 and wait for the hdtv... so i got the ps3 atleast i can play a ps3 well saving for a hdtv
