The legal age should be lowered to 16 imo. Most parents let their kids drink eariler anyway.

Last week we had gone to the student bar after our lectures had been done with, I hadn't drunk a huge amount, 2 1/2 pints, but I had an empty stomach and we had downed the last 1 1/2 in about 15 minutes as it was close to being booted out time.

I cycled home tipsy, that was fun! The only thing missing was me making revving noises!

I prefer tipsy to drunk, you feel like you are still normal.

Nigel, thats slightly, lightwieght? so in whole you had a pint and was drunk, albeit on an empty stomach? I'm guessing you're not a heavy drinker? But yeh i agree, tipsy is funnier than totally wrecked.
