Well, it becomes difficult to guess a person with a considerably different username from their previous', Although the regular members in the forum can guess who it is, but you're dragging needless stuff if you're going for an entirely new name.

Shortening of names, adding new characters to the existing name, and things like that are all right, Like i got my name changed from kbchandraw > KBChandraw > KBC.

The similarity is kept, though you changed your name, people recognize it's you. So these type of username changes are expections.

Put it this way, blunt, you can add/cut stuff from your name, but You're not getting a new one.

Also, i believe that there is a member called 'Cooks1st100' surely he should change his, Cook has scored a few 100s now, and also, he isn't even good any more. Apologies for that insult to Cooky, but his batting has slipped over the past few months
