A room with just a light strip in the ceiling is filled with people around a table. Those are recognisable as Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Shane McMahon, Brian Gewirtz (Head Writer for RAW), Michael Hayes (Head Writer for SmackDown!), David Lagana (Head Writer for ECW) and Jim Ross.

Vince McMahon: Look at these buyrates! One Night Stand's figures are the lowest in the company for 7 years and we have to do something to turn this around.

Stephanie McMahon: But what? We have tried everything we can think of!

Vince McMahon: Well it has to happen soon or this company, my company, will plummet. Does anyone have any ideas?

David Lagana: Well to improve ECW I need more of the big stars here on a regular basis. Its OK to get the occasional star over for one night, but we can't build any interest.

Michael Hayes: Well we need help here too! Smackdown is losing all its main guys and although Edge has come over, the top isnt strong with all the top men at Raw

Brian Gerwitz: Hey, don't blame us! We just get what we are given. Im not requesting all the top stars, they just find their way here.

Vince McMahon: Cut the squabbling! Since you can't find anything I'm going to have to pull us out myself.

Jim Ross: Well there is one possibility. I have been looking around and there is this one guy who is out there. He's tough, you can bet, and he knows how to get a company going the right way from experience. If we can pry him away from his current company then we are onto a possible answer right here.

Vince McMahon: How do we know this guy can do it?

Jim Ross: You remember TNA in the early days, moping around in the indy levels, just about staying afloat. Somehow they rose up from that and are still rising. It may seem that the experienced writers there had all the credit, but I hear that this guy was really behind it all.

Vince McMahon: Right. If you can get hold of him and get him here ASAP then we'll have him. Its our chance

Jim Ross: I have spoken to him before, he is interested. I could even get him over to us for the Raw creative meeting this evening

Vince McMahon: Right then, I want him straight away. In the mean time, get some rest everyone. I will see you for Raw tonight.

Monday 4th June. 4:00pm. Backstage at Raw the Creative team are having a special meeting. Usually before a show Vince McMahon takes a back seat and leaves it to the Head Writer of the show, but today he, Jim Ross and the 3 head writers are together for the meeting.

Vince: So, JR, where is this guy we are getting? Don't tell me he went back on us

JR: He is on his way, but has had some delays in Orlando. He was on the first flight and could arrive at any time.

Vince: Right then, we will have to do Raw without him. Brian, what do we have for tonight?

B Gerwitz: Well Vince, with the Draft planned for next week we will announce it and hype it tonight. We also have some ongoing sagas with Cena, Hardyz and Marella in defences as part of the storyline involving yourself. Also there is a good segment where...

*Knock on the door*

JR: Here he is, this is the guy we have brought in

JR goes and opens the door to a tall man wearing a suit and who is seemingly disgruntled.

JR: Let me introduce to you, all the way from TNA in Orlando, this is Chez. He has some great work to his name and, thanks to his verbal only commitment, has been able to switch over here very easily.

Chez: Good afternoon everyone. It is a pleasure to be able to work with you

Vince: A pleasure to meet you, Chez. Now that he has arrived I believe it is the best time to announce the role Chez here is taking up. He will be the Head Booker of WWE, that's all 3 brands. Brian, David and Michael, he is now the man who you will recieve instructions off.

D Lagana: But Mr.McMahon, this guy is unproven here and we have worked for this company for years. He can't just slot in above us.

Vince: He can and will David. He is proven and is the only solution to our current problem. Now he is introduced to you David and Michael can leave. The remainder of the meeting will be planning for Raw.

Lagana and Hayes get up ad storm out. Gerwitz is visibly unhappy in his seat still as discussion turns to the night's shows.

Vince: Here Chez, this is a copy of the show for tonight. Have a look through it and see what you think.

Chez: Having looked at the list of events I can see that this show really summarises the reasons that this company is falling.

Vince: In what way? We have really turned up our storylines. Its an interesting show!

Chez: To be frank, you go mental in the show. Thats not a good idea in my opinion.

Vince: This storyline has been in the works for ages! I do not want to scrap it!

Chez: I was hired here under the premise that I could bring change. If that is not the case then maybe I shouldn't be here.

Vince: Well what do you want to do then? Bring in Styles and Daniels and have them do cartwheels around the arena? Thats the sort of Indy trash you have been tought and I will have none of it on my show

Chez: Actually my delay from Orlando and the flight time allowed me to type up some brief outlines of storylines I would like to run. Here, I have had them printed, take a look.

JR: These look pretty good actually. And its not like this guy has no idea.

Vince: Fine, I will admit that this sounds good. I will leave you in charge of the 3 shows, but I want to see each show before it is run to pass it. Raw tonight is yours to deal with. Make sure I have the script an hour before we go on air.

Vince leaves the room, as does Gerwitz, sulkily. Chez is preparing to write Raw as JR starts to talk

JR: Chez, you're gonna have to be more open to Vince's ideas. He is not one who like to be messed with, I am telling you. Try not to do something like this again.

Chez: Sure thing. I want to make sure this place gets going the right way.

JR: Right then. There are also a few rules you should know. The main one being, don't bring any Indy Darlings over here or Vince will go mental. The rest are fine for now. I travel to every show, so I'll keep an eye on you and make sure you keep to what he will accept. Because if you hit boundaries then you will be out of here. OK?

Chez: Thanks a lot JR. Lets hope we can make this work.

JR: Perfect. Now lets get to writing Raw.

Contrary to both of your opinions, I am actually finding ECW very, very hard to book. There's no Main Event talent around there

Ha! Cue my skills in my story! Randy Orton, I promoted Bobby Lashley and bring in someone like Christian Cage..

Well I have the draft to work with in a weeks time, which will help, but Vince McMahon won't want me to bring in TNA stars, it would seem desperate! And Cage wouldn't want to rejoin us anyway.

Problems with trying to do a realistic story. Plus, although I have only alluded to it so far, I actually have a set of rules which I must follow from Vince McMahon. Keeping to them makes this difficult

I love the draft! In me and James' story, it's coming up after ECW, so I hope you use it like we will.
