hello MSD i install this patch i would like to say thank u verymuch..i have some doubts im very new here this is my 2nd download only..i selected CSK team to play but L.Balaji bowled Spin? there is no M.S. Dhoni and albie morkel is set as a wicketkeeper makhaya ntini is opener??its completely messed up..what should i do to play perfect? can u plzz guide me how to make correct team? bcoz i couldnt even change the players also..so plz guide me..thank u for ur patch..

Just Go to IPL 2009 Roster Thread and download that file. I know bout the problem of Balaji opening with spin and there are more in that default file like Chris gayle batting right handed. I created full 8 teams from scratch and there were almost 140 players to be added in those teams. So these kind of mistakes happen. Thats why i had posted and updated and corrected file in the IPL 2009 Roster Thread.

P.S: In new roster, Every team is well organised. So you can play with Mumbai Indians in Test matches, and World Cup Too. And the line up of some test teams are different form ODI teams.. YOu would se that difference when you play....

Great work . i know how hard it is to make a patch for brian lara cricket. everything is a lenghty process when u compared with EA but i must say u worked really hard.

Suggesstions for ipl patch

1.you can get those ipl logos out of the grey circles.
2.you can edit the gametext.dat file and change the stadium names.
3.change some of the crowd files into cheerleaders.
4.replace the team logos in the top od the scorecard with dlf ipl logos.
5.change the deccan chargers kit and logo
thats it.
Please post the next edition on rapidshare as it is fasteter to download it from there.

I finally figured out the Wk gloves template. i got all the templates now. i found bat template, hat, helmet, pads, wk pads, wk gloves,stumps,and trying to figure out the batting gloves template.

I am new to this thread. If im not mistaken your fabulous 2010 patch for BLIC 2007 has yet to be released. Any thought on when it will be released....?

1) yes i have got them out of grey circles in first place when we were about to release the first patch but MSD said that silver cirlces look good thus we dumped my version..
2)Yes i can, I have tested this in first patch itself. Browse through the stadums and you would find Zimbabwe stadium renamed to DC... I can do that very easily..
3)Impossible in BLIC07 as all the crowd have same generic actions. Moreover the crowd file are stored a low,medium and high crowd groups in the game... So if i change it wold mean all the crowd would look like cheerleaders.
4) Thats a tough one coz only kills999 has been successfull doing that and is unresposinve for last few months.
5)Thats a piece of cake... If you want than you can change it yourself tooo. Download the DDs plugin for Adobe Photoshop from nvidia site and then insatll the adobe followed by the dds plugin.. After this you can easily open the kits files in Adobe just like a normal image file and edit it as if you are creating a picture in paint... So go on and create some fancy kits for your teams..


I have answered all of your questions but that doesnt mean that you should expect the next patch any time sooner. As there is only one person working on the patch at the moment: MSD. Coz kills is in hibernation: and i have withdrawn myself from patch for following reason:

1) Ashes Cricket 2009 would be released in a month so whats the point in creating a patch for just one month??? I got the Lost Planet and Mirrors Edge to pass my time till then
2) I have separated from the patch team due to some conflicts with MSD.:.(But dont worry, i have not copyrighted my Roster file. So you would be seeing the same roster file with some minor adjustments in next patch coz i know how much time it takes to create 32 accurate teams and there arent a lot of peole who are willing to that.,each team has 4 type of teams:Champions trophy,WC,ODI,Test. so 8 IPL teams X 4 = 32)

don't worry max. i already made the rosters. and i am replacing the champions trophy with the icc world t20. which will have the new kits, trophy.
and i have figure out how to rename stuff too. i changed the names of the stadiums. and i figures out the template of all the stuff in blic. so i will release them soon. if any body wants it.
