Meet and Shane Watson resumed the innings of the Spinning Dicks. Unfortunately for the Dicks, Watson got out early during the day. But from then onwards, there was no looking back. Meet and Brad Haddin went on and on to give the Dicks a huge lead. Shane Warne made a shocking decision as he decided to declare the inning when Meet was on 95. Meet remained not out on 95 and missed his maiden ton by jut 5 runs.
The Spinning Dicks declared on 286/5 with a lead in excess of 400.

Later Callum Gray scored his maiden half century, after he missed it in the first inning. On the other hand, Pietersen continued his good run of form and he too reached a half century. It was an entertaining inning as he reached the milestone with a strike rate of more than 100 yet again.
