First 5 day match at Brisbane

The Playing XI:

Spinning Dicks: Shane Watson, Brendon Hedger (vc), Ricky Ponting, Johnny Lyon, Jono Choie, Meet, Brad Haddin (wk), Bilal Shuja, Shane Warne (c), Riz Khan and Doug Bollinger.

Master Batters: Andrew Strauss, Michael Vaughan (c), Callum Gray (vc), Kevin Pietersen, Varun Rustagi, Brook Harris, Akshay Chauhan (wk), Stuart Broad, Akshay Sharma, Haarithan and James Anderson.

Day 2 (Stumps)

Jono Choie and Meet resumed the inning of the Spinning Dicks on the second day of the match. It was a disappointing performance with the bat by them as the Master Batters came back strongly. James Anderson was absolutely pumped up. Dicks had a lot of expectations from Haddin but he departed for a low score as well. The Dicks got all out for 429.

The Batters came out to bat and what better duo could they think of, Strauss and Vaughan. They both provided a solid start to their side. Both of them scored 50s and later got out to Shane Warne and Riz Khan respectively. Callum Gray too performed well with the bat, scoring 40 runs at a pretty good pace. Was unfortunate to miss out on his maiden fifty. Pietersen turned out to be the star of the day for Batters. He is still at the crease and on 63 in just 49 deliveries. Batters will be hoping him to continue this on Day 3 too. Along with Pietersen, the other guy at the crease is Varun Rustagi, who is very watchful. All hopes on this duo to make a match out of this.

At the end of Day 2, the Master Batters are on 247/3. They trail by 182 runs. Pietersen (63) and Varun Rustagi (16) are still at the crease.

That's a pretty nice start for us, good to see me open up with a 40, and hopefully KP can continue to dominate tomorrow.

what a ████ day there. What were our lower order batsman and bowlers doing.

Yudi, what's my bowling average set to?

:eek::facepalm:spy

That's damn tooooo much
He is a pure batsman who wishes to bowl. He might get some chances in the future.

If I give a bowling average too good, there won't be any difference in Batting ARs and Pure Batsmen. ;)

Wow, that is what we call comeback, great bowling by us and than a spectacular show in batting turned it our way.

not a good start by us i'm afraid, but we should be turning the tables again like they did to us. They still trail by a 182 runs. I would say the match hangs in the balance for now anyways.

Yudi, please put me on the free agents list. If I get selected, I'll tell you my type.

Just the one success with the ball but overall a great day for the batters . KP take a bow leading by example and CG made a nice 40 to start with. This should be a draw from here
