The official meeting was held some hours ago to decide the dates and other stuff for the tournament. The captains of the two sides, Shane Warne and Michael Vaughan were also asked to announce the vice-captains for their squads.
The vice-captain has an important role as he will be taking part in the drafts and also will be finalizing the Playing XI for each match.

Brendon Hedger appointed as the vice-captain of the Spinning Dicks
We can't say whether this move was expected or not, but Shane Warne, skipper of the Spinning Dicks chose Brendon Hedger to be the vice-captain of his side. He wasn't in the mood of saying much to the media. All he did was the declaration of the name and then handed the mic to Vaughan.
Shane Warne said,
"After thinking a lot, I have decided to appoint Brendon Hedger as the vice-captain of my side. Hopefully, Brendon will do a good job for the Spinning Dicks."

Michael Vaughan chose Callum Gray to be the PlanetCricket representative for his side
Michael Vaughan, the skipper of the non-controversial side the Master Batters was cool as a cucumber during the event. Vaughan, without any hesitations decided to name the vice-captain of his side.
Michael Vaughan said,
"Unlike others, I consulted my entire team before naming the vice-captain for the Master Batters. The name which strikes our minds every time we think for the PlanetCricket representative his Callum Gray. Callum seems to be a confident and a matured guy and we are sure that he will handle the drafts as well as the auctions pretty nicely."

The method of posting the 5 day matches was to be finalized in the event, but as the voting is going good and the votes for the both the options are almost the same, both the skippers decided to extend the voting period for one more day.
