WC2007: Super 8

laughable that anyone criticises Freddies bowling, he's our best bowler BY MILES..

with the nature of these slow pitches, it really doesn't suit freddie to come into bad agianst the spinners..

I'd welcome him up the order to open with BELL with VAUGHAN dropping down the order as he plays spinners bettter..

All I can say is -

:happy Aussie Aussie Aussie oi oi oi Aussie Aussie Aussie oi oi oi Aussie io Aussie io Aussie oi oi Aussie Aussie oi oi oi!! :happy

This is a bad ending from England.. With 5 Wickets in hand and 5 Overs left, I think it is time to hit out or get out.

its funny really..

england are at their worst in the first 10 and last 10 overs....

probly cos 90% of the team are blockers..

The sheer lack of flexibility on England's part suggests a weakness. Vaughan and Bell have to be in the top order. Why is that? What are they that no one else is? Fair enough that there are some dominating batsmen who should always open, but those who continue to raise questions must be prepared to take greater lengths to answer them.

Flintoff is not a number 6 in limited overs cricket. Period. I've missed a huge chunk of the match due to actually playing a game myself, but he hasn't even reached triple figures for the tournament yet and for a self proclaimed 'batsman who bowls' that is pathetic. Meanwhile with the shoe on the other foot, Bopara hasn't put a fut wrong in this tournament and is far more effective with the bat than Flintoff at present. Bopara up to 6 please Mr.Fletcher.

lol dont pick on Freddie when Vaughan who is a specialist batsman hasnt reached tripple figures at all in his one day career...but that's another argument perhaps.

Well batted Kevin Pietersen, a ODI century for KP

I said he was nailed on for a hundred after being dropped for a second time, didn't I? :p

Well done KP, it's a shame no one could stick with you for a last 10 assault.

I meant triple figures for the tournament aggregate. Which Vaughan hasn't reached either.

There might be more attitude problems with KP, he got to the hundred and practically retired himself.
