. Just though I'd let everyone know I'm getting cricket 05 and I will be playing this on that. Not sure how long it will take, I'm gonna see if an Aus domestic patch can be made first. Otherwise I might be making a surprise move to England

Chapter 1: vs Victoria
"Come on dougie! See this ball out!!"
"Man, I can't watch"
"YES!!! Well played Dougie!"
The last man in Doug Bollinger played out the last ball of the over which leaves Steven Smith an over to score 1 run to bring up his maiden hundred. We were at 9-318 at the time and looking good. Hughes got out for 70,and now Steven Smith was playing an inspirational knock.
"YEEAAHHAAA!! GOOD ON YA SMITHY!!"
Smith brang up his ton with a single through the covers and went nuts. We all celebrated from the balcony, especially Cameron who was relieved he got there after he got out for a golden duck and nearly lost all of Smithys hopes; No one rates dougies batting. But the eagle survived the ball and Smithy got his ton. It capped off a great day for the team. We are in a commanding position to put on a big first innings lead.
Dougie managed to survive the next 5 balls of the over and we all applauded as Smith and Dougie made their way off the field for the end of the days play. When Smith got up the stairs the boys were hugging him and ruffling up his hair. We were all pumped for him. We got in the sheds and opened up a few beers before the Coach Matthew Mott put a stop to that. It was a fairly early night as we were going to have to field tomorrow, and Victoria are a strong unit.
When I got back to my apartment I saw I had a letter from the people that run the place. As I read it more and more my heart sunk more and more. Unless I can pay them 5000 dollars by the week's end I'll be kicked out. I may have fallen a bit behind in the rent when I got picked for the team It became hard to work and train so I had to give up working for a while. I didn't know what to do, with my family away on holidays I was stressing out. The first thing that came to mind was to call Motty.
"Hello"
"Hi Motty, it's me Matt."
"Hey mate, what's on your mind? Wanna talk about trying to contain yourself from paying out angry fast bowlers?

"Well, not exactly. I've been told I need to pay 5000 dollars or I will be kicked out of my apartment"
"Oh mate, that's horrible. They do know your playing cricket for NSW right?"
"Haha Motty, this isn't a time for jokes! I don't know how I'm going to come up with the money."
"Look mate, don't worry about it. I'm gonna get this sorted. Just relax"

He had hung up. I felt really bad right about now, and started regretting calling him. I sort of put him in a position where he can't just reject me. I didn't get much sleep that night as I thought about what was going to happen. I was trying to get my mind off it and concentrate on the cricket tomorrow. We will have a long day in the field"
