I started a 40 over World Cup first game was reduced to 33 overs from the start. Unfortunately there was no mention of it till it said how many overs were remaining in the tv overlay after about 15 mins

Quite a few times I’ve played in rain affected matches reduced to 40 overs a side. But there is no mention of it by the commentators, nothing comes up on the HUD. You have to go into the scorecard section and the summary of the whole game to see it’s been reduced to 40 overs a side. A few games have been ruined thanks to this. And it’s always 40 overs a side exactly. No more no less....

This needs to be looked at for sure. May be a prompt message on screen when the game resumes would be a nice addition to inform the users

I would agree, I had a brief rain delay, lasting a few hours. No warning of coming off, rain didnt seem to be coming down any heavier than first hour which had very light but visible showers.

Surely their should be a graphic saying rain delay. Maybe even a cut scene too Big Ant? It would help us know what is happening
