Weirdest School Closures???

yeah...so this happened in my school yesterday...thought it was really funny...listen up...well everybody arrived at the school normally on a very normal day...we went into the first lesson which was science and out science teacher said that he will be gone for about 15mins as he needs to check on something and told us to just sit there and talk quietly...which i found very unusual indeed...anyway he returned after about 20mins and said that the school water supple isn't working so the school has decided to send every body home : ....every body was like...WAHHHHH...i mean what the hell does the school need water supple for in school apart from toilets and cafeterias...so yeah me and some other friends were looking for some other friends(lol) around the school and we saw police around our main teaching block...we were really suspicious than and as we were going towards the teaching block a teacher came and told us to clear off immediately and started shouting to other people around us as well to clear off and that it's really serious...but we didn't know what was so bad about not having the school water supply working properly...
so we went to school today and some people and even teachers are saying that what really happened was that some body sent the school head teacher a e-mail saying that there's a bomb planted in the school somewhere and so they called the police to check the buildings and stuff...but it probably was a prank e-mail or just a rumour but that's what i have been hearing around me...lol...so have any weird school closures happened in your school yet???

The heating wasn't working so years 7-10 were sent home. I'm in year 11...

the roof collapsed so they sent us home and someone put a stink bomb in the stairs and the smell was all over the school the guy got suspended but we got sent home

lol it happened in a Junior school in our are too.... couple weeks ago... Some rumours sayin there was a Bomb in school so they shifted whole litlle kids to another school and most funny thing is it happend next day aswell lol ... poor lil kids got stitched .. lol dam

lol my school closed once for 4 days and gave us 6 days off thanks to a weekend in between because some teenagers broke about 100 school windows at night lol... cheerz guyz

I think if they did that when I went to school the school would be closed at least twice a week.

I probably found the weirdest time of being sent home apart from not having injuries is when our sports hall and french rooms flooded, i was gutted about the sports hall, it was my exam that day (Science Mod) and it had to be prosponed.

I think one of the wierdest ones my mate was saying is when the cafe has faulty gas, and it was considered dangerous even though at his school the cafe is on a diffent campus building

Your parents could sue the school for that, as its guideline by law that if a school has to be shut down for either too cold or too hot, then everyone has to leave, not just the juniors.

I've been sent home last summer at 2PM as the rooms got overly hot in one part of the building which didnt have Air Con

lol...also we had like caravans parked outside our main school building about 2 years back and they were used for classes like R.E and PSHCE and stuff but somebody burnt them down in the night...lol...but it happened in the holidays...DAMN!!!

well once the power went so we went home, another time an electrical wire exploded of the wall and went physco trying to kill us so we got to go home . Another time school was almost closed when a wall collapsed on a kid...

our school had 2 bomb threats so dont feel to special and our teachers told us straight up
