Weirdest School Closures???

This is all in the last 2 months. Firstly, there was a fire in the toilet. From my school, you could walk to the nearest fire station in 5 minutes. It took them 20 minutes to arrive.

Last week, the storage shed at the end of the field was set on fire accidentally by some smokers and the roof got burnt off. They had to knock the shed down so it didn't collapse. Again, it took the firemen 20 minutes to get here.

Ok, heres my story

4 girls wrote a bomb threat in the girls bathroom, and we got out of school for the rest of the day, we were made to stand outside in the rain, with 34 degree weather Farhenheit (1 Degree Celcius, or around there)

We stood there from 12:30 PM to 3:20 PM.

Some of the guys and girls including me made a little group huddle thing, it made things feel warmer. But it may be because some humongous fat person who everyone hates was standing right behind me

Out school is not like that unfortunately We have never been sent back home.

MY last school was more fun. Only sudden holidays we get are of the govt declaring holidays. Once we reached school only to find a big notice that the school is closed for 10 days as declared by the govt. Hurray

I probably found the weirdest time of being sent home apart from not having injuries is when our sports hall and french rooms flooded, i was gutted about the sports hall, it was my exam that day (Science Mod) and it had to be prosponed.

I think one of the wierdest ones my mate was saying is when the cafe has faulty gas, and it was considered dangerous even though at his school the cafe is on a diffent campus building



Your parents could sue the school for that, as its guideline by law that if a school has to be shut down for either too cold or too hot, then everyone has to leave, not just the juniors.

I've been sent home last summer at 2PM as the rooms got overly hot in one part of the building which didnt have Air Con

My school only closes the junior school if it's over 35 degrees, but not the senior school

Ive only get sent home for banging some cheecky kids, and i kind of kicked a football at a teachers face but was an accident!:cool:

2 days off because one of our Geography teachers got arrested for fiddling about with this girl for 5 years.
The rumours afterwards were Fab.

We only get to miss school when a hurricane comes near, which is almost every year. But aside from that, we never get out. The AC has gone out countless times when its really hot out and we've been flooded a time or two as well. But we did have a lockdown for about an hour because a kid brought a tazer.
