Yeah, as Lee's said, it's one of the most notorious areas for crime in Manchester and probably in the area. If anyone from England remembers the Jesse James murder last year, that was in Moss Side and there have been a lot of others.

Well I'm against the death penalty but I guess in this case it would've saved another life, and that's pretty sad. Sean you're lucky you weren't too close when it happened, hopefully they catch the guy!

I reckon they need the death penalty. He could be dead now if the bloody courts didnt give him a lesser sentence for stabbing a girl 19 times in the heart. Bloody ridiculous. The 13 year old kid of her goes to my school.

Life in prison usually gets shortened to 20 years, because of "good behavior" or something. They're convicts, they shouldn't get prizes for not killing their bunkmates!

Either that or the government simply do not have the money to jail these guys for so long. I read somewhere that it costs the US Government in excess of $90,000 USD a year to jail a convict.

These cruel people simply do not have the right to live.
