Only a complete idiot would not recognize this immediately.
Luckily there are 260 million of them to keep the economy moving forward.
Poor people are the best at stimulating the consumer economy. They spent all their money on stupid ---- they don't need. Take out excessive amounts of credit cards and just pay interest for decades.
That's why I love working for a financial services firm whose majority stake is in credit cards. Our market is recession proof, hell we make money in recessions.

Was going to say that's a horrible position to take and ask how you could live with yourself.
but then my only paid job has been in a casino and i've made a lot more (and on top of that it is also completely tax free) money from playing online poker borderline professionally.
