Patrick Stump doesn't participate in the screamo type singing. That would be Pete Wentz the bassist. Patrick Stump has got one of the most unique voices in the business. Far better than any crap indie ****, unfortunately punk rock and indie get tangled now and again.

Also, you need to get over your "i hate emo," phase here, because Fall out boy are not emo.
 
His voice might be unique but i speak for a lot of people here when i say it's terrible.
 
Am I the only one who thinks Indie means 'We're not rock and we're not Pop. We're not really anything. We can't commit to a genre so we'll do something random and label it 'Indie'.
 
Alright so Patrick Stump's not screamo, he's still a fat ginge with disgraceful mutton chop sideburns and a terrible voice. Besides, i've never seen anyone who's surname is so descriptive of them before either.
