What Was The Last Thing/s You Bought? Thread

Personally not a fan of Alienware myself, but you know what you're getting at least and the tech support will be fairly decent :)

I have always been wanting a hardcore gaming PC. What I currently have is tweaking Intel 965 Chipset core 2 duo and no graphic support. Its so bad that even Cricket 07 lags sometime

What! thats strange! you paid over a lac for a ???? having Core 2 duo!! Its gonna be outdated in 1 month........
Well I think you need to read his previous post carefully. :yes

Anyways just got this right now, my cousin came back from Eng and my father requested him to bring these since my old Powerbow (2009 range) got broken.

Do you read post or just reply blindly?

Hardcore gamers don't buy factory built PC's :spy. They assemble them themselves. You would have assembled a beast of a PC for that price and probably 2 or 3 times better than what you got. And as for tech support goes, well I've had my own assembled PC for last 3 years and all the tech support it ever needed is me. ;)

You say that Angry. But then, some gamers have friends who also game, so the ability to have a portable laptop that allows you to head over to theirs for some actual "hardcore gaming," You know with a Lan connection and not the rubbish internet. No serious gaming is down online. Anyone who thinks it is ever a fair playing field online, is lying to themselves. The moment you realise that, it becomes a lot more fun :)

True mate but you aint a Hardcore Gamer if haven't carried your cabinet on the back of a bike with a friend en-route to a BYOC Lan Party. That's hardcore. :p Gaming lappy are for girls :D

Were for girls ;)

These days with components able to be smaller and smaller, a gaming laptop is far more feasible. 5-10 years ago, I wouldn't have dreamt of it! My own personally built desktop lasted so long. Even now it would play some half decent games if I overclocked it. That is if it still worked of course.
