What Was The Last Thing/s You Bought? Thread

:lol Well it's not as much the cords as the headphones just stop projecting the sound properly or something along those lines. Okay while they last though @Simon, not great sound quality but you're not paying much

I don't think I've ever had headphones with more than two months of usage. Then again, I've never bought expensive or good quality ones.

Really? My in-ear headphones generally last about a year, despite usage practically everyday. My current ones have lasted six months so far and don't look bunging out anytime soon.

By headphones, I mean earphones. And it probably doesn't help that I don't take good care of them or, like I said, buy any good ones. I now remember that I had one pair that lasted 6 months but the rest have been very short if I actually use it.

Same is the case with me. I don't buy the luxury ones, just the decent ones; use them for about 2-3 months and get a new one after that.

Yeah, I too am talking about earphones here. I don't know what it is, I don't take great care of them but they never seem to break. Must be that lucky

I've got JBL Tempo headphones for over two months and it works like a charm. I use it while travelling in crowded trains. Got it for 1500 rupees, well worth it!

I got my first and only other earphones when I was 10 and managed to make them run perfectly well for 2 and a half years, so I'm hoping I can keep that up. :p

I've had a horrible experience with SkullCandy. I had the same earphones which you bought, and they didn't last a month. Got it replaced during the warranty period, and the replacement didn't work well too.

Geh... Maybe I should take have taken proper care of my earphone. But I prefer headphones any day! You have excellent noise cancelling (disadvantage for some) and better quality.

They serve different purposes really. I have both and use my headphones around the house for maximum quality, and bass-loaded earphones for travel since it's really not practical to be carrying around headphones IMO.

I have some mighty expensive Sennheisers and they have served me well for the past 6 or so months. $150 for the headphones and $70 for the earphones. Should last me a lot longer than the cheap ones, especially the headphones (which can be repaired easily!!!) and I get top, top quality for the same price over that longer period. They are still in top shape for sure, like new.

Skullcandies and the like are just fashion earphones, build quality is always going to be poor and you'll never get value for money in terms of fit or sound quality. I recommend keeping them in a case to keep them going as long as possible, my mate got a year out of his which I think were of the Ink'd line.

Only ever made do with Gummy earphones. They're cheap and adequate for listening to music, meh.
Actually, pretty sure I've never paid more than ?10 for a pair of earphones.

Four nights in some shitty hostel in Berlin.

Looking forward to it, though!
