What Was The Last Thing/s You Bought? Thread

Just built a PC after a really long time, here are the specs for those who are interested:
ZOTAC GeForce® GTX 1050 Ti Mini (4GB DDR5)
Intel® Core™ i3-6098P Processor
GA-H110M-S2 (rev. 1.0) | Motherboard - GIGABYTE
8GB RAM DDR4
1TB HDD

And:
Dell KM117 Wireless Keyboard Mouse
Circle D2 Cabinet
WiFi Dongle

Had to go with the i3 6098P(that's pretty much an i3 6100 with a less powerful integrated GPU) since Pentium G4560 was out of stock everywhere and was being sold for double it's price hence the i3 was a better option.

Went with a very basic cabinet for the moment, will be upgrading to a much better one next month as I can't afford to spend anymore on the PC this month.

Total cost is around 37K INR all thanks to the new GST in India and miners. If I'd have built the same thing 2 weeks ago it'd have cost me much less around 33K INR.

Pretty good so far.. :thumbs

The difference between your config and mine is the G4560 processor and 1050 (2GB). Otherwise, it's pretty much the same.
Great and true bro. :)

However, I'm not sure why it cost you that much. I had got the processor+motherboard+RAM+GPU for around 25K (about 2 months ago)
GST was the main reason(cost went slightly up) although online sites such as Amazon is looting customers selling parts for their maximum price possible, second reason is the i3(costed me 9K) while G4560 was 5K when available. Good thing was I bought everything from a local store.

Cost of things(processor+motherboard+RAM+GPU) you mentioned for me was around 30K only. HDD+Case+KB Mouse = 6k. Also the card you bought I'm sure wouldn't have costed you more than 10k but is being sold on online sites for 12.5K while I bought the Ti version that costs 15K on these sites for 12K INR.

That is true. That's why I always go and buy it from stores when it comes to hardware. One can easily shave off 20% from the price that we get on Amazon or Flipkart.

Exactly, it was still a decent option to buy these components online pre-GST but after it the sellers went crazy with the prices I remember the 1050 Ti was having a price tag of 16K while the g4560 was around 12K. Good thing was a friend asked me about it as he was looking to build a PC for his brother before making a purchase otherwise he'd have ended paying double the amount.

Today I bought the new Arsenal home shirt and being honest without feeling smug it feels good and being further honest it feels like a shirt i will be wearing next summer.
