Why isn't my Achievment for World Cup working?

Hi guys, I just won the World Cup on Test level with the West Indies. However, I did not receive the Achievement, and the World CUp Trophy was not unlocked. I tried to go back to my save, when I was on the verge of victory, several times, but it didn't unlock.

The only thing I can think is when the opposition batted I generated the bowling. And then I chased down the runs normally. Could this be a reason why I did not get the Achievement?

To make things worse I saved it with about 5 runs to win, going over my save BEFORE the match begun! So if I didn't get the Achievement because I generated the bowling, I have to go back and win the whole bloody World Cup again! :-(

I would really appreciate someone letting me know on this. Thanks guys!

oh god i think im gonna cry ive spent since the first day playing one world cup and i skipped 1 innings. hope this isnt the case.

I don't think it will penalize you for skipping innings during the tournament, in terms of getting this particular Achievement, but I generated in the actual Final. I think that may be my mistake, but gee I'd like this confirmed before I go and restart it all over again!

No I haven't done anything like that. In fact I have hardly bowled at all. No cheats, nothing.

I should mention my batting achievements have been coming fine.

If you generate any of the innings, you don't get the unlocks/reward for that match

I havn't generated any innings whatsoever, yet have not recieved the 360 achievement. :

I got the trophy! but not the achievement. for christ sake codies!

Have just won it with Pakistan and it worked, the achievement was shown in the Unlocks&Rewards even though i autoplayed the bowling in some of the group matches.

The final was the classical Pakistan vs India. I gave the target of 303 and I bowled them all out on 297 . It was a great and tough match, i enjoyed playing it.

It does say when generating the computer batting who will not recieve achievement points for this.

It only matters if you generate any of the innings or part there of in the final match. Anything before that does not matter.

Tried both ways, and only got the achievement by playing the full and final match.

Sweet, thanks man! Its my own silly fault for saving over the save copy before the game started! Oh well!
