Another one is when he returns the baby, as he reaches for the rattle in his pocket the police open fire and mow him down.

Yep it is, I think what made it stand out to me was that about a week afterwards there was a Louis Theroux show on Discovery channel where he was going about Hilbrow basically investigating the sort of things that happen in the movie.
