Now I am waiting for your Cricket 22 WPL teams...

RCB is like we freakin don't care about the trophy :D. All we want is to sell beverages world wide.

It's business folks...Diageo is milking money out of this business....It's the BRAND!!

18 and 18 in RCB now... King & Queen in the house...

With the amount of support pre-wpl Dani Wyatt was displaying, gutted to see her not being part of the WPL.

If WPL had 6 or 7 teams, Wyatt surely got a bid... There are enough batting options for 5 teams, also franchise looking All-rounders in oversea picks...

This is how IPL should have been short and sweet instead of being such a drag on tournament. Excited to see what Mumbai crowds bring in for the WPL.

Also Mandhana is the love of my life :p! Unfortunately will have to support RCB!!!!

I had a run through the squads and tried to pick out some XI's. Not certain about the Indian domestic talent.

Delhi and Gujarat I manage to get to a full XI based on players I've seen or am aware of.

UP Warriorz I got to 10, Mumbai 8 and RCB 7 (but a very good seven).

I'll probably forget to do the rest, but here's a run down of Delhi Capitals.

1 Shafali Verma
2 Jemimah Rodrigues
3 Alice Capsey
4 Meg Lannning
5 Marizanne Kapp
6 Jess Jonassen
7 Taniya Bhatia +
8 Shikha Pandey
9 Arundhati Reddy/ T Norris
10 Radha Yadav
11 Poonam Yadav

I expect Lanning and Kapp will play and I'd expect Capsey and Jonassen to be the others. Capsey is great for England at 3 and could open, but I think Rodrigues might open ahead of her. She could also bat after Lanning. Kapp is a great finisher. At this level, Jess Jonassen could probably be a good 6 or 7.

However, Laura Harris is a great hitter at the back end. She had a strike rate for 200+ in 15 innings in the WBBL just gone. Only Gardner and Dottin hit more sixes. She'd be perfect at six.

They are the only team to go with the associate option in Tara Norris. She would probably have been my top pick for that. Professional in England, left arm seamer (assuming they are overpowered like in the men's game) can probably bat at 7 or 8. Depending on how the team shapes up I could see her competing with Reddy and Sadhu as the third seamer option - maybe fourth if they play Jonassen and Capsey as they might choose another seamer instead of Poonam Yadav.

They definitely look a well balanced side with some good choices for different set ups.
