[ᴡᴘʟ] Women's Premier League (Feb 23 to Mar 17, 2024)

And now Beth Mooney is retired hurt in the match. Horrible start of WIPL for Gujarat Giants. They are 3 down (and one retired hurt) already too.

Are Sydney Thunder players marred with injuries too? Sorry, haven't been following BBL at all.
They were all out for 15 in the BBL earlier this year.

Entertaining... Wow superb start to the Tournament... Same feeling of 1st IPL match, KKR vs RCB...
And I was right...

IPL: 1st match
KKR scored 222/3... RCB bowled out for 82... KKR won by 140 runs.

WPL: 1st match
MI scored 207/5... Gujarat Giants bowled out for 64... MI won by 143 runs...

Just bowl short to Shafali Verma.

No ball review?

You can review wides and no balls in the tournament. I believe they are saying it's the first time, but I'm sure I saw it in the PSL last week.
All hail King Kohli!! :lol

That match against Pakistan in T20 WC was revolutionary.

In all seriousness, it's really cool to have it, since a lot match results in the past were swayed due to incorrect decisions.

It makes sense, but still with no balls some people will be unhappy by the decisions.

Could be crucial at the end of matches when narrow decision could change a game.

I believe it also counts as part of the two reviews, so teams might be less frivolous with some of their wicket reviews.
