Hey guys I just thought I'd start this thread its about what landmark/good looking sights you can see from around your area.

Reson being is because latly I took a trip into centrale (Croydon) I live about 10mins away from the town centre and I went up into the 2nd floor of it and looked out of the window because Its relitivaly high and you can see over the rest of the town and in the far far distance I could see the arc of Wembley arena it was far but clear, I went higher up and you could still see it but the sun was shining of it so it was a bit harder.

At first I couldnt believe my eyes so I went onto Google Earth :p and lined up centrale with Wembley arena and its in the exact same angle and stuff so it must be it, plus theres not other things with arcs besides that other arc in London or somthing Ive seen it on the news and its not that so yh Wembley looks great I went there a few times afterwards aswell and I went there yesterday but they put the arc down :( you cant see it no more I it happened at the worst time to I wanted to show my friend to prove to her its there and im not talking bull and it wasnt there :(

Sorry to drag on but about a year or two ago, my school was in the final of croydon cup cricket and the venue was Trinity Schools ground not the one in the school they have one thats just a plain ground for stuff like finals etc. It sloped bigtime I was feilding on the outfield on the start of the slope area and not that far away I could see a chunck of the Mellenium Dome (a decent chunck to) and the Canary Wharf it was pretty good.

so tell us what youve seen thats a landmark or somthing known.......not the good looking train station on your road ;)

Cambridge looks pretty good at night aswell, annoying thing is all the people on bikes. Corn Exchange is good (Motorhead :D).

Ken Dodd's house is 5 minutes walk from my house.

Then of course there are the famous jam butty mines.

Norwich is a lovely place. I completely sold jordox the place on Saturday. In the space of an hour he wanted to come here.

Hmarkas, I am officially jealous. I can just imagine sitting on that patch of grass on the lower right of the picture for hours around sunset time.
