What a wonderful match. It was a bowlers paradise as sun failed to show over the days as well as a green pitch. The batsman had trouble getting going and not a single fifty was scored. Demonic Dragons fell to 93/8 pretty quickly with only Callum Gray getting a start scoring 26. Kurtis Davidson and Khurram Khan however scored a few runs to give Dragons a total of 131 giving Cobras a target of 123 to chase. Bosnich finished with a five wicket haul with all the bowlers giving him support. Mossy tried to chase it down quickly as he scored 21 off 29 balls but couldn't go on. Michael scored 28 but other than that, no big scores the danger man Hedger only making 5 as well. It was going to be close at 112/9 needing 11 to win. Bosnich worked again and got a few runs before hitting a six over cover to bring scores level. He blocked out the rest of the over. Shawn Raje was bowling from the other end. Top edge went up. It was very high and the fielder couldn't get to it as the batsman ran through for the single for a 1 wicket win. Bosnich recieved man of the match for his 7 wickets taken throughout the match and 13* at the end of the innings to win the game for Cobras. Hopefully, there are a few more close games before the end of the season.

The funny thing was that I didn't even see yuo suggest it and just decided to make a green pitch since it was overcast.

Nah, I dnn't really look at the CC SG before posting a match to see whether you are thinking about a pitch type. Anyway, we won anyway and thats all that matters.

great game for us there, a bowlers game this was. dissapointed i didn't make a good contribution but i wasn't the only one this time

hopefully the training on monday will get me into shape.
