A batsman's day as Hawks finished 283/5 after Day 1. Waqas went early, falling to Bilal Butt but Akshay scored 73 while Aditya Cricketer scored 40 to get Hawks back to 162/3. Raj Sharma was stumped with the bat being just centimetres off the ground. Meghraj couldn't become the first WCA player to score a century as he fell for a well made 73 before falling to Jono Choie in the last over of the day. The spinners bowled pretty well but it wasn't a great effort. Day 2 was going to be exciting.

Ya this aint over yet! 4 days left. Just need 4 quick wickets, and before they know it, they dont even have 300 on the board. Even with a good star.

So bowlers, long and hard (TWSS!) day. But job's not done yet.
