World Cup 1992 - All Squads Project

Hi, I've done non-playfaced creations in Cricket '19 and back in the orginal DBC of all of these teams before, but am at it again to hopefully create them all again for Cricket '22.

I've been working through them with a majority of the work being creating from scratch and approximately 15% editing existing creations to the best of my ability. For kits I have used the excellent creations from @Rowdoss and I thank him very much for putting those up. I have edited the Team Name and Player Name fonts to closer fit the real life style and also shifted the colours as best I could to slightly less saturated colours to hopefully be closer to the real life look.

I've tried where possible to use the best information and skilling I can on individual players, even down to their correct date of birth. Despite that I will still be occasionally revisiting them and making revisions when I can.

I take this very slowly and carefully, but still it's very hard to obtain certain players likenesses with the available kits (oh there's definitely a wishlist of creation suite options if Big Ant would consider some changes for the academy!). As I am taking it slowly, I have only done the following teams so far.

New Zealand WC'92
Australia WC'92
England WC'92
South Africa WC'92
Zimbabwe WC'92

I am hoping to move on to Sri Lanka and then the West Indies next.

Anyhow, here are some of my creations to give you a general idea. Let me know if you think any of these are at least adaquate so far.

Looks awesome !!! Pretty close to real… WC 92 is one of my earliest cricket memories when I was 7, definitely made me in love with the game although I started watching around 90-91

That's cool and good to know. When I was searching some other teams in community, it got hung, so I play Cricket 22 and also Cricket 19 at times. I don't know if you still play the Cricket 19 but I had done WC 96 squads on there and my ID is "Kunal Soni 85", in case you still play that, might be worth downloading those squads

This is fantastic. I know @Mouseydread has done the 92 wc squads too. All these are fantastic work. This wc is before I started watching cricket but I have heard enough stories and seen enough reels of it to make that wc feel special somehow. 90s were the golden years of one day cricket.

I know I had a couple of teams yet to do in this (and they're done and ready for upload soon - West Indies and India), and I also know Shane Warne missed out on being at the 1992 World Cup by about a year, but I still wanted to put him in the Squad and so I've tried to enhance another creator's excellent work on Mr Warne and here we have him. Hopefully it looks fairly decent.

The picture of him at the MCG still had a few changes to go before he finally looked like the version on the left. Let me know if I should upload him.

Here are my India 1992 side (finally). All handmade likenesses except Tendulkar (I downloaded the playface and made minor changes).

Here is West Indies 1992. Some liknesses are better than others. Pretty happy with some of them though.
