Now I'm not a big fan of these cricket leagues but this is an idea I've always had and so I thought I'd give it a try.

Basically, on FM09 I made a World Premier League with ten teams from across the world filled with the world's best players. Each team had to have three of their own national players, sort of like the 'Icon Players' in the IPL. Then there was a random number draw from four pots to determine the full squad lists: La Liga Top 30, Premiership Top 50, Rest of Europe Top 40 and World Top 40 (The World's Best - includes La Liga and Premiership) . Each team got three players from the La Liga list, five from the Premiership list, four from RoE list and four from the RoW list, giving them 19 players including 'Icon Players'.

I managed to set it all up and make the database. Each side was set to have a balance of ?500mil and a transfer budget of ?200mil. Unfortunately having made it in place of the Australian A-League there were salary caps and the game was effectively unplayable.

Now it's time to make it again, but this time I want you guys to be the managers. No vCash needed to enter, this is purely for fun. So fill out the following form if interested.

Sign-up Form:
Manager Name:
Manager Nationality:
Manager Date of Birth:
Team (Choose from the list below):

Choice of teams and their 'Icon Players':
London Lions: Wayne Rooney, Steven Gerrard, John Terry
Sydney Force: Tim Cahill, Mark Schwarzer, Lucas Neill
New York Fighters: Tim Howard, Landon Donovan, DaMarcus Beasley
Buenos Aires Falcons: Lionel Messi, Juan Roman Riquelme, Javier Mascherano
Berlin Giants: Miroslav Klose, Michael Ballack, Philipp Lahm
Madrid FC: Fernando Torres, Xavi, Iker Casillas
Paris Legends: Nicolas Anelka, Franck Ribery, Eric Abidal
Rome Gladiators: Gianluigi Buffon, Andrea Pirlo, Luca Toni
Johannesburg Jets: Aaron Mokoena, Benni McCarthy, Steven Pienaar
Tokyo Destroyers: Shunsuke Nakamura, Yoshikatsu Kawaguchi, Naohiro Takahara

Don't be put off by the likes of Tokyo and Johannesburg. They will have to have their 'Icon Players' in the starting line-up but with a random number draw you could come out with one of the strongest teams.

- Teams are picked on a first-come first-serve basis.

- This will be done on Football Manager 10

Red = Traded players

The World Premier League

- Each of you will need to set a general formation that I will revert to whenever possible. Fill out the form below.
- You will be able to change your formation before every game. (You don't have to. I will make necessary changes if suspensions or injuries occur.
- I will give fixtures for each week straight after each game, you will get roughly 24 hours to make any changes to your line-up you want.
- The db has created plenty of random players, I will ignore them and just use the 19 players drafted.
- Teams MUST have 2 'Icon Players' in their starting XI (If possible of course)
- Good luck.

Sure, that is the one that sucked the most. Anybody can change their nicknames if wanted, as long as they are appropriate of course ;)

Everyone will be added to the first post.
