After the openers surprisingly went early to Bilal Khan, Sohaib Maqsood took over and caned the Omani bowlers.

Turns out we have a lockdown from tomorrow, then it's Easter. So the draw for the preliminary round is tomorrow!

I will be extremely elated if we can, somehow, get a win in the qualifying matches. Beating Sri Lanka or Pakistan was never on the cards, but we really should've at least been more competitive against Namibia.

Go same for both Ireland and Namibia.

Sohaib is the new Shadab :p

Warmup Match 18
Bangladesh vs England

@Life Warrior @Ashutosh.
Venue: Pune

Toss: Bangladesh won and chose to bat

The middle order wilted at the end against Sam Curran, however not before a charming fifty by Liton Das lit up Pune.

However, there's no denying this was a spinning pitch, and when Jason Roy's Liton-esque knock was ended, Mehedi and the other spinners took control.

BAN 8/150
ENG 6/149
Bangladesh win by 1 run
MOTM: Liton Das

Maybe they didn't deserve them all, but Bangladesh have won 3 of 3 against big teams...

Warmup Match 19
Afghanistan vs Australia
@AsadRM
Venue: Brabourne Stadium

Toss: Afghanistan win and chose to bat

1617052782863.png
After a disastrous start against the pace battery of Starc and Tye, only a classic slowburn by Mohammad Nabi got the Afghans over 100.

The Aussies were much more restrained than against the Dutch (to be fair this may have been not wanting to be dismissed by Rashid or Mujeeb) but David Warner ensured they had a comfortable victory.

AFG 5/107 (20)
AUS 2/109 (14.5)
Australia win by 8 wickets
MOTM: Mitch Starc

Finn Allen
Glenn Phillips
Kane Williamson
Devon Conwoy
Tim Seifer (wk)
James Neesham (will bowl)
Colin de Grandhomme (will bowl)
Mitchell Santner (will bowl)
Trent Boult (will bowl)
Tim Southee (will bowl)
Lokie Ferguson (will bowl)

Warmup Match 20
India vs New Zealand

@Parth D @TSPrathik
Venue: Nagpur

Toss: NZ win and choose to bowl

1617137447657.png
Rohit Sharma looked set for a century until he missed a Southee yorker in the 14th over, but that momentum was kept up by Kohli as the Indians surged to 193.

The Kiwis- particularily openers Finn Allen and Glenn Phillips- put in a brave fight but ultimately the Indians' superior spin bowling sealed the deal.

IND 4/193 (20)
NZL 4/163 (20)
India win by 30 runs
MOTM: Rohit Sharma

Confident going into the tournament with this win.
@ddrap14 can you make colour of Indian scorecard out and out blue? This orange blue mix doesnt gel well
