I don't see how you can justify having SS in your team over the likes of Asif, Clark, and Ntini. Disagree with Sachin as well, but you can make a case for him. SS? No IMO.
I picked him because I feel he could work well with Stuart Clark, Clark tends to cramp the batsman up for room while Sreesanth gets away swing and bounce.

He may not be big on out-swing, but he more than makes up for it in accuracy and bounce. And I'm not sure how he hasn't been doing well as averages under 24 in the last 10 Tests. Not sure how fast he is these days but he seemed quick enough against Pakistan.
